Scientific articles

The Swiss Society for Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology SGA awards students that are writing exceptional Master or Bachelor Thesis in the field of agricultural economics and sociology. Furthermore we encourage young scientists to present at our yearly conference.

Yearly we award three winners with our young researchers grant:
1.   Price: 800.- CHF
2.   Price: 400.- CHF
3.   Price: 200.- CHF

Additionally the winner receives a one year free SGA membership and the chance to present their research at the yearly SGA conference. 

Please send a copy of your Master or Bachelor Thesis and 3 pages of abstract within 15th February to: youth@sse-sga.ch

SGA annual conference 2020

On 23 and 24 April 2020, the annual conference of the Swiss Society for Agricultural Economics and Sociology (SGA) will take place at the BBZ Arenenberg in Salenstein (Thurgau). The topic of the conference will be:

"Agriculture in the context of climate change - Risks and options for action"
